Senior Frontend Developer - Hybride/Groningen

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be at the forefront of transforming design concepts into real-life products. With your expertise in React and TypeScript, you’ll architect scalable applications, solve technical challenges, and collaborate closely with designers to bring seamless user experiences to life.

You will be building, optimizing, and maintaining multiple frontend applications, ensuring high performance and intuitive user interactions. You understand the bigger picture, recognize potential pitfalls early, and know how to structure frontend development for long-term success.

Using technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Node.js, you and the team will be building products from the ground up while continuously exploring new technologies and best practices to improve our solutions.

What you will be working on:

• Building and improving frontend applications.

• Recommending technologies to implement new features and improve existing products.

• Developing reusable libraries to enhance efficiency across projects.

• Building, delivering, and iterating on products to ensure scalability.

• Setting up scalable and maintainable architectures.

• Ensuring pixel-perfect implementation of designs.

• Improving efficiency by introducing better development methods and workflows.

• Applying best practices like DRY, KISS, and knowing when to apply YAGNI.

What Does Hotelchamp Expect From You?

• 6-8 years of experience in React and TypeScript.

• Ability to translate designs into fully functional, high-quality products.

• Strong problem-solving skills—you know how to set up architectures and solve challenges.

• Experience in building scalable, maintainable frontend applications.

• A solid understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate them effectively.

• You thrive in a team environment, are comfortable working with Git, and write clean, readable code.

• A keen eye for detail, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation.

• Mindset focused on growth and learning.

• An eye for design. You care about what you build en what the user experiences.

• Fluent in English and able to work within commuting distance of Groningen on a hybrid basis.
