About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Front-End Engineer to join our team in building intelligent, next-generation financial solutions powered by AI. This role will focus on designing and developing sophisticated user interfaces that seamlessly integrate with complex financial systems and AI-driven services.

The ideal candidate is passionate about creating intuitive user experiences while possessing a solid understanding of back-end architecture and integration patterns. You will work closely with back-end engineers, AI specialists, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade front-end applications for financial systems.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs, AI services, and business-critical financial workflows.
  • Translate complex financial and AI-driven processes into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making across the full application stack.
  • Ensure front-end solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and accessibility standards expected within the financial sector.
  • Develop reusable components and maintain scalable front-end frameworks and design systems.
  • Work with AI integration teams to surface machine learning outputs and recommendations effectively within user interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance existing applications.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote front-end engineering best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD processes, and Agile ceremonies.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Required Experience & Technical Skills

Front-End Technologies

  • Strong experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Extensive hands-on experience with React.js
  • Experience with Next.js
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, and responsive design principles
  • Experience with component libraries and design systems
  • State management experience using tools such as Redux, Context API, or equivalent
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
  • Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent

Back-End Understanding

  • Strong understanding of back-end development principles and system architecture
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with back-end engineering teams and understand complex integrations
  • Experience working with:
    • Microsoft .NET / ASP.NET Core
    • API design and integration
    • Authentication and authorisation frameworks (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT)
    • Microservices architecture
    • Event-driven architectures and messaging concepts

AI Integration Experience

  • Exposure to integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into enterprise applications
  • Understanding of AI service consumption through APIs
  • Experience working alongside data science or AI engineering teams
  • Familiarity with AI orchestration patterns and prompt-driven applications would be advantageous

Cloud & Platform Technologies

  • Experience working within Microsoft Azure environments
  • Practical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Understanding of cloud-native application development and deployment practices

Additional Technologies

  • Experience with Python and its role in AI-enabled ecosystems
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience using Git-based version control systems
  • Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker is advantageous

Industry Experience

  • Previous experience within financial services, banking, fintech, or other highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, auditability, and data privacy requirements within financial systems.

Package & Remuneration
