As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. We have offices in Birmingham, AL and also open to remote work with occasional travel.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Developer with expertise in React to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building intuitive, scalable, and high-performing web applications. You will be part of the front-end development team working on web and mobile applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and user-friendly front-end applications using React.
- Lead the design and implementation of reusable, modular components and front-end architectures.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues efficiently, ensuring high quality and responsiveness.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and sharing best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in front-end development and React ecosystem.
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services seamlessly.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in React, including hooks, context API, and state management libraries like Redux Toolkit.
- Solid understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with front-end build tools such as Webpack and Vite.
- Familiarity with UI libraries like Material-UI. Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end applications.
- Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of GraphQL.
