About the Opportunity

Our client, a growing digital transformation and technology consulting business, is looking to appoint a Senior Front-End Developer to join their team and help deliver high-quality, enterprise-grade digital solutions for clients operating in the financial services and regulated industries space.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong front-end developer with solid Salesforce Experience Cloud and Lightning Web Components (LWC) experience, combined with exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks and a passion for building secure, scalable, customer-facing applications.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, building and optimising front-end applications used in high-impact environments where usability, performance, security and data accuracy are critical.

 

The Role

As the Senior Front-End Developer, you will work closely with architects, stakeholders and delivery teams to design and build sophisticated front-end solutions that are scalable, maintainable and aligned to enterprise best practice.

You will contribute across the full front-end delivery lifecycle - from technical design and development through to optimisation, troubleshooting, collaboration and mentoring.

This role will suit someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, comfortable operating in a consulting or enterprise delivery environment, and able to balance hands-on development with collaboration and technical leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Designing and developing sophisticated front-end solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and modern web technologies
  • Building and enhancing responsive, enterprise-level front-end applications
  • Developing clean, maintainable and well-documented code in line with coding standards and best practice
  • Collaborating with solution architects, UX/UI teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and intuitive digital experiences
  • Optimising applications for performance, speed, usability and scalability
  • Implementing accessible and user-friendly interfaces aligned to modern web standards
  • Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving complex front-end issues
  • Performing code reviews and contributing to quality assurance and technical best practice
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to technical planning and estimation
  • Mentoring junior developers and supporting knowledge sharing across the team
  • Championing front-end best practice across development, testing, accessibility and security

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following core requirements:

  • 5+ years’ professional front-end development experience
  • Strong experience building complex, enterprise-level web applications
  • Solid experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud
  • Strong hands-on development experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Advanced working knowledge of:
    • JavaScript / ES6+
    • HTML5
    • CSS3 / SASS / LESS
    • React.js or Angular
    • Git / version control
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)
    • Salesforce Lightning Component Framework
    • Responsive design principles
    • Cross-browser compatibility and debugging
    • Web accessibility standards (WCAG)
    • Agile delivery methodologies
    • Web security best practice
  • Proven ability to build customer-facing solutions in a structured, quality-driven development environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

 

Highly Advantageous Experience

The following experience will be highly beneficial:

  • Experience building secure customer-facing portals in regulated industries
  • Exposure to financial services platforms, banking, wealth, insurance or similarly regulated environments
  • Understanding of data privacy, secure sessions, PII handling and compliance-driven UI/UX
  • Experience working on applications where data accuracy, security and auditability are critical
  • Exposure to modern front-end tooling and frameworks such as:
    • TypeScript
    • Redux
    • Jest / testing frameworks
    • Node.js
    • Webpack
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Salesforce DX
  • Broader experience with frameworks such as Vue.js or Next.js
  • OOP / server-side exposure in technologies such as Java, C# or PHP
  • Relational database knowledge
  • Salesforce certifications such as:
    • Salesforce Platform Developer I / II
    • Salesforce JavaScript Developer I
