Introduction

We're looking for a passionate Front-End Developer with strong design abilities to join our client's team and help build modern, responsive web applications.

You'll be responsible for developing intuitive user interfaces, creating engaging user experiences, and collaborating with designers and back-end developers to deliver high-quality digital products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code, has a strong eye for detail, and takes pride in building user interfaces that are both visually appealing and highly functional.

We're looking for strong evidence of working across varied interfaces and component libraries. Your experience should have depth, breadth and independent thinking.

Salary: Up to R50 000 CTC dependent on experience

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in front-end web development (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern web standards
  • Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating with back-end services
  • Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
  • Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

  • Experience with front-end performance optimisation and web accessibility (WCAG) best practices
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles for front-end development
  • Experience with jQuery and maintaining legacy front-end applications
