Frontend Developer

Location: UK (remote or flexible)
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + benefits
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Front-End Software Developer to join a growing technology team building the next generation of digital tools used by nonprofit organisations around the world.

You’ll help design and build highly customised web pages and applications that power large-scale fundraising and advocacy platforms used by millions of users. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with modern JavaScript frameworks and building user-focused digital experiences.

You’ll work closely with product managers and other developers to create high-performing, scalable web applications that help organisations drive engagement and impact globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement responsive web pages and applications

• Transform design mock-ups into high-quality HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to deliver new platform features

• Integrate front-end components with REST APIs and backend services

• Write clean, secure and maintainable code

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development processes and standards

• Ensure applications are optimised for performance and scalability

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS

• At least 3+ years of experience building front-end web applications

• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React

• Familiarity with modern development tools such as NPM and Webpack or Vite

• Experience working with REST APIs

• Ability to translate design mock-ups into working UI components

• Comfortable working in an Agile development environment

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Vue.js

• Familiarity with older frameworks such as Backbone
