Pay Details:
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $100,000 to $125,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.The Front-End Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the user-facing part of websites and web applications for the Anaheim Ducks. This position will work closely with our design and back-end teams to build and maintain high-quality web applications and a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications work well on various devices and screen sizes
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
Identify and fix bugs or issues in the code
Work closely with back-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software
Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related
3+ years of proven work experience as a Frontend Developer
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vuejs
Experience with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays depending on the needs of the team
Able to travel as needed
Able to create responsive designs that work across various devices
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch
Experience with testing tools like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
Experience with a sports team
Knowledge of SEO best practices to ensure web applications are search engine friendly
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes
