Introduction:
Our client is looking for a Front-end Developer to design and develop modern, user-friendly web applications and customer solutions. The role will combine UX/UI design and front-end development, working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality, practical and visually appealing solutions.

Job Purpose:
To lead the design and development of modern web-based user experiences across  products and customer solutions. The role is responsible for defining user journeys, designing intuitive interfaces, developing high-quality front-end applications and establishing user experience standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education (essential):
  • Diploma in Software Development or Computer Science (or similar)
Minimum applicable experience (years):
  • 2-5 years
Required nature of experience:
  • 3+ years’ experience in front-end application development
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET and Blazor
  • Experience with MudBlazor or similar component-based UI frameworks
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, SCSS and responsive design
  • Experience designing modern user interfaces and customer-facing applications
  • Experience translating business requirements into wireframes, prototypes and production-ready solutions
  • Experience defining user journeys, workflows and application navigation
  • Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating with backend services
  • Experience working with SQL-backed enterprise applications
  • Experience using Git and Azure DevOps
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND OBJECTIVES
UX/UI Design & Product Experience
  • Own the user experience across Dataviue products and customer-facing applications.
  • Define and document user journeys, workflows and interaction patterns.
  • Produce wireframes, mockups and prototypes before development commences.
  • Establish and maintain reusable design standards and component libraries.
  • Continuously improve usability, accessibility and visual consistency.
  • Drive a modern, professional and commercially credible user experience across all products.
Front-End Development
  • Develop front-end applications using Blazor / MudBlazor and React.
  • Create reusable components and UI frameworks.
  • Ensure responsive behaviour across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
  • Integrate front-end applications with APIs and backend services.
  • Optimise performance and user experience.
Solution Design & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engage directly with business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops.
  • Translate business requirements into user-centred solutions.
  • Challenge assumptions and recommend better user experiences where appropriate.
  • Present concepts and designs for review and approval.
Architecture & Standards
  • Define front-end architecture standards.
  • Contribute to application design decisions.
  • Maintain UI frameworks and design systems.
  • Promote front-end best practices across development teams.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
  • Conduct front-end code reviews.
  • Ensure solutions meet quality, accessibility and usability standards.
  • Research emerging UX and front-end technologies.
  • Continuously improve product quality and customer experience.
