Senior Frontend Developer

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Frontend Development
.    Strong hands-on experience with Angular for building scalable, enterprise-grade web applications
.    Excellent proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS for developing responsive and maintainable UI components
.    Solid understanding of component-based architecture, modules, services, and Angular best practices
.    Experience working with RxJS for reactive programming and NgRx for state management

UI/UX & Design Collaboration
. Figma
.    Ability to interpret Figma UI/UX designs and accurately translate them into functional frontend components
.    Close collaboration with designers to ensure visual consistency, usability, and design intent
.    Strong attention to detail in implementing layouts, styles, and interactions
API Integration
.    Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs within Angular applications
.    Understanding of REST principles, API versioning, and error handling
.    Ability to collaborate with backend teams to define and refine API contracts
Development & DevOps Practices
.    Hands-on experience with Git for source control and collaborative development
.    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Helios, for build, test, and deployment automation
.    Participation in code reviews and adherence to coding standards and best practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience Requirements
.    6–10+ years of overall software development experience
.    4+ years of hands-on experience with Angular and modern frontend frameworks
.    Proven experience building enterprise-scale web applications
.    Design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript
.    Implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML and CSS
.    Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, functional UI components
.    Integrate frontend applications with backend RESTful APIs
.    Manage application state using RxJS and NgRx
.    Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of frontend solutions
.    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, designers, and QA
.    Contribute to CI/CD processes and maintain clean, version-controlled codebases

"CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy."
