We're looking for a talented Fullstack Java/React Developer to join our nearshore team for a Belgic client. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust fullstack applications that serve our global clients. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your technical expertise and analytical mindset will drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions. • Design and develop fullstack applications using Java for backend services and React for frontend interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services seamlessly
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members and implementing improvements
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the entire stack
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
• Engage actively in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to fullstack development

**Required Skills and Experience:**

• Proven experience with Java programming and backend development
• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Demonstrated fullstack development experience with end-to-end project ownership
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with unit testing and code quality practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (plus)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Background in performance optimization and scalability
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
