As a Mid React Developer, you will work on a multi-brand, white-label web platform that supports localized eCommerce experiences across several Ahold Delhaize brands in Europe.

You will contribute to the continuous improvement of an existing, production-grade platform, working across frontend, GraphQL/BFF integration, and CMS-driven content experiences.

 

Key responsibilities of your role.

  • Develop and maintain React components following established architecture patterns
  • Build and integrate features using GraphQL and Apollo Client
  • Work with Bloomreach headless CMS for content-driven experiences
  • Write and maintain unit tests using Jest
  • Document components and patterns using Storybook
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Support internationalization across multiple country markets
  • Monitor and improve performance (Core Web Vitals, bundle size)
  • Collaborate with backend teams on Hybris integrations
  • Work closely with DevOps on environment and deployment topics.

Requirements.

 

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience with React
  • Strong understanding of React hooks, component lifecycle, and state management
  • Experience with SSR/SSG concepts
  • Experience consuming GraphQL APIs
  • Solid testing mindset
  • Good communication skills and fluent English
  • Experience working in Agile team

 

Nice to Have:

  • Node.js experience (BFF / GraphQL layer)
  • Experience with headless CMS platforms
  • Exposure to eCommerce domains (catalog, checkout, promotions)
  • Familiarity with monorepo tooling
  • Strong TypeScript knowledge
