Full Stack .NET / REACT Developer

Position Description:

The team in Canada provides daily operational services to the investment banking and corporate banking entities, as well as to their clients, to support and accelerate their transformation. The department stands out for its rapid agile transformation, strong technology and data culture, short decision-making cycles, and a structured industrial approach built around cross-functional teams aligned with business units.

You will join the team whose mission is to support and develop tools for the Risk department. You will be part of a feature team of four people responsible for an application that monitors Front Office activities globally to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and French banking law.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Implement new frontend and backend features.
• Produce daily reporting of desk-level aggregated risk indicators.
• Develop a dashboard to visualize the completeness level of risk indicators over a given period.
• Contribute to the technical migration from .NET 6 to .NET 9 or 10.
• Propose performance improvements for APIs and Entity Framework.
• Leverage the Microsoft Azure platform to enhance and evolve the application.
• Generate Excel reports including charts.
• Provide Level 3 support.
• Evolve CI/CD pipelines toward GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Contribute to the standardization of SonarQube usage.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Already authorized to work legally in Canada.
• Reside in the province of Quebec.
• Bilingualism – Comfortable speaking both French and English.
• Minimum 4 years of development experience with C#, .NET 6 to .NET 9/10, Microsoft Azure, SpecFlow, Entity Framework, MS SQL 2022 and tSQLt, Kubernetes and Docker, Jenkins and Groovy, OAuth 2.0, React 18, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum).
• Ability to develop, test, document, and provide L3 application support.
• Ability to work on-site at the client’s downtown Montreal office 4 days per week.

Assets:
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Airflow and Python.

CGI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on several factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses or certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the specifics of each case. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $115,000. This position is currently open.
