AWS KMS, AWS CloudHSM, and Amazon Payment Cryptography provide managed or dedicated, FIPS-validated cryptographic key storage and operations—ranging from simplified, highly integrated encryption (KMS) and single-tenant hardware control (CloudHSM) to specialized payment card processing (Payment Cryptography)—to secure data and meet regulatory compliance.
We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to join us in building the most secure services in AWS. Our systems protect customer content and accelerate use of cryptography in all AWS services. You should have experience developing customer-centric systems and a passion for delivering software solutions using scalable, distributed architecture. Along with senior leaders, principal engineers, and security specialists you will discover and solve the new interesting challenges of growing and operating a globally distributed cryptographic security service.


Key job responsibilities
• working on a massively scalable services critical to data protection in AWS.
• designing, implementing, and testing new features for AWS Cryptography.
• operating an AWS business with globally distributed servers and customers.
• working as part of a team to develop solutions for our customers.
• owning one of the most secure and reliable services in all of AWS.


- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
