The Role 

As a Front-End Engineer at Xiatech, you will play a key role in designing and building our front-end web applications. You will collaborate closely with Xfuze product managers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences for our Xfuze platform. Your primary focus will be on front-end development using React, TypeScript, and modern styling frameworks while also contributing to backend services where needed. You’ll help define best practices for front-end architecture, component libraries, and UI/UX design.
The role offers an opportunity to work with modern web frameworks, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications using React and TypeScript.

• Work with the product and engineering team to develop wireframes and prototypes.

• Define and improve UI/UX guidelines and best practices for the Xfuze platform.

• Build and maintain reusable components and contribute to the design system.

• Work as part of a cross-functional squad, delivering new features using agile methodologies with minimal guidance.

• Work with MongoDB and other data stores.

• Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright to ensure quality.

• Review PRs and provide feedback to maintain high-quality code and engineering best practices.

• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to platform improvements.

• Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and advocate for best practices.

Your Knowledge & Experience

• 5+ years experience in modern web development.

• Experience working with design tools such as Figma to create wireframes and prototypes.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and npm.

• Experience with web frameworks like Next.js and Express.js.

• Familiarity with component libraries like ShadCN, MUI, Tanstack, and building out custom design systems.

• Deep understanding of CSS frameworks like Tailwind, responsive design, and accessibility principles.

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, component-driven architecture, and front-end state management.

• Experience working with MongoDB or other similar Document NoSQL data stores.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as GCP and AWS.

• Strong testing mindset with hands-on experience using Jest, Playwright or similar testing frameworks.

• Worked within an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc).
